Magpie is built to keep your plans private.
Your calendars, events, comments, labels, and profile live on your device and in your personal iCloud account (Apple’s private CloudKit database). We do not run our own servers and cannot read your data.
When you share a calendar, its events and comments become visible to the people you invite, through Apple’s iCloud sharing. You can remove members or stop sharing at any time.
Magpie uses your Apple ID as your identity, so there are no passwords. Apple shares your name (and email, if you choose) on your first sign-in; it is stored on your device and used only to label your profile and comments.
Magpie shows no adverts and contains no third-party trackers. Anonymous usage counts (for example, “an event was created”) are logged only on your device and never include titles, names, dates, or anything you type.
Daily digests and reminders are scheduled entirely on your device from your own calendar data.
Magpie Plus purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
You can delete your account in Settings, which permanently removes all Magpie data from your device and your iCloud. Contact us with any questions via the App Store listing, or email magpieapp@outlook.com.
Magpie is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
